Job Responsibilities & Requirements: 

Foster an environment that empowers and holds employees accountable for maintaining a safe work environment; monitor and enforce all safety procedures, PPE, FS and Continuous improvement tools.  

Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.  

Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.  

Owns the Tier 2 boards keeping them updated to support management team for strategic decisions  

Adapt and react quickly to changes based on Customer delivery requirements  

Analyze and resolve work problems, through assisting operators for continuous improvement  

Support managers on the Employee performance reviews and GPD conversations 

Owns the employees timecards and time off requests  

Recommend training and development of existing personnel skills 

Work with maintenance department to ensure all production machines are repaired and running properly  

Take the lead in resolving quality issues and problems.  

Owns the 5S program (organization of tolling, work stations) in assigned area 

Champion on the company’s Vision, Mission and Culture Characteristics in every action and decision  
Fully engaged and helping others in the Employee Suggestions Program 

Any other job duties required

Compliance to all applicable laws (EHS), regulations (UL), and standards (ISO).  

Customer Focused, both internal and external.  

Ability to effectively/clearly communication and follow both written and verbal instructions  

Follow standard work instructions and do it right the first time 

Identify, register and inform to the immediate leader any kind of Quality/Non-Conformity in product assembled.  

Reduce customer disruptions, MRBs, and losses 

Engage in Zone Metrics indicators to drive continuous improvement/problem solving in the zone; actively identifies detractors and records them on Tier Production Boards. 

Participate in problem solving activities and execute  

Real time application of the right quality tools
