AVEVA is hiring an entry-level Product Marketing Specialist to join a globally-distributed team focused on our market-leading PI System products for industrial operations. We are looking for people who are passionate about industrial technology, have experience in the B2B software industry, are self-motivated and want to build a career in product marketing.

Key responsibilities

You will craft how we tell the world our story through development of digital marketing and sales enablement content. This position requires close interaction with Sales Management, Marketing Communications and Product Management. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, a growth mindset, and the ability to think creatively to translate technical features and functions into business value.

Essential requirements

  • Create buyer personas by understanding customer pain points
  • Develop competitive intelligence by researching other solutions
  • Define and manage comprehensive go-to-market plans including positioning, value proposition, launch strategy, and sales enablement tools
  • Develop thought-leading, customer-focused content such as websites, presentations, brochures, white papers, customer stories, ebooks, videos, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute demand generation programs and campaigns that generate sales leads and accelerate the sales process
  • Develop sales tools and programs that align to the buyers' journey

Desired skills

  • 2+ years experience in a B2B organization; technology/software/marketing experience a plus
  • Experience with operations technology, historian software, SCADA, HMI, control system, edge, IIoT or data visualization software preferred
  • Experience with manufacturing, infrastructure, smart utilities, or heavy industries a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and PowerPoint
