Job description

Experienced Insurance Producer

Build a Bigger Future with a Growing Independent Insurance Brokerage

Location: Hybrid Opportunity Available for Colorado-Licensed Insurance Professionals

Compensation: $50,000–$65,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commissions + Renewal Income + Benefits

You've built relationships. Now build something that lasts.

Successful insurance producers know that real success isn't built from purchased leads or cold call lists—it's built through trust, relationships, and consistently delivering value to clients.

If you've spent years developing your reputation and growing your network, your next career move should give you the opportunity to maximize everything you've worked to build.

Our client is an established, independently owned insurance brokerage that is expanding its Colorado team and is seeking two experienced Insurance Producers who are ready to continue growing their business in a supportive, entrepreneurial environment.

This isn't an entry-level sales position.

It's an opportunity for experienced professionals who want the autonomy to build their book, the support of an experienced team, and the long-term financial rewards that come from growing lasting client relationships.

Why Experienced Producers Explore This Opportunity

Not every insurance agency is built the same.

The producers who thrive here are looking for more than a paycheck—they're looking for a place where their relationships are valued, their expertise is respected, and their long-term success is encouraged.

This opportunity offers:

  • An established, growing independent brokerage with a strong reputation
  • The flexibility to recommend solutions from multiple carriers
  • Leadership committed to long-term growth rather than short-term production
  • A collaborative team environment where client service comes first
  • The opportunity to build recurring renewal income that grows with your book of business

If you're producing today but wondering whether your current agency is the best place for your future, this conversation is worth having.

What You'll Do

As an Insurance Producer, you'll serve as a trusted advisor by helping individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most while continuing to grow your own book of business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing new business through referrals, networking, and relationship-building
  • Building partnerships with Realtors, mortgage professionals, financial advisors, business owners, and other referral sources
  • Identifying clients' insurance needs and recommending customized coverage solutions
  • Managing and expanding a profitable book of business
  • Delivering exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale
  • Collaborating with experienced service professionals to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Building long-term client relationships that generate repeat business and referrals

Who We're Looking For

This role is designed for experienced producers—not someone looking to break into insurance.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Active Colorado Property & Casualty Insurance License
  • Two or more years of insurance sales experience preferred
  • A proven track record of generating new business
  • An existing network of referral partners or strong business relationships
  • Excellent communication and consultative sales skills
  • Self-motivation with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • A genuine passion for helping clients while building a successful business

What Makes This Opportunity Different

Many agencies promise "unlimited earning potential."

Few provide an environment where experienced producers can truly maximize it.

This position is designed for professionals who already understand how to generate business through relationships—not by relying on company-generated leads.

If you've built trusted relationships with Realtors, mortgage lenders, financial professionals, business owners, or other referral partners, you'll have the opportunity to continue growing those relationships while being supported by an experienced independent brokerage.

Just as importantly, your income doesn't reset every January.

As your book grows, so does your renewal income—creating a recurring revenue stream that rewards the relationships you build today for years to come.

For experienced producers, that's one of the most valuable parts of this opportunity.

Location

Leadership is based in Denver, Colorado, and candidates located within approximately 60–90 minutes are preferred for onboarding, coaching, and occasional in-person collaboration.

Applications are welcomed from producers throughout Colorado, and exceptional candidates living outside the state will also be considered if they already hold an active Colorado Property & Casualty license.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time W-2 position offering financial stability, long-term earning potential, and excellent benefits.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $50,000–$65,000
  • 3% commission on new business premium
  • Ongoing renewal commissions
  • Uncapped earning potential
  • Book equity

Estimated Earnings

Year One: $65,000–$85,000+

Year Two: $85,000–$100,000+

Year Three+: $140,000+ through continued production and growing renewal income

Benefits

  • Health Insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Paid Time Off
  • Company retreats and team events
  • Professional development and ongoing coaching
  • Long-term career growth opportunities

The Right Fit

The producers who succeed here are relationship builders.

They enjoy networking.

They earn referrals because clients trust them.

They understand that lasting success comes from serving people well—not simply chasing the next sale.

If that describes you, you'll find an environment where your experience is respected, your growth is supported, and your success is rewarded.

Confidential Search

This search is being conducted on behalf of a respected independent insurance brokerage that has built its business through long-term client relationships, exceptional service, and steady growth.

Additional details about the organization will be shared with qualified candidates during the interview process.

Ready for a Better Opportunity?

If you've built a successful insurance career and believe there's room for greater growth, stronger support, and higher long-term earning potential, we'd love to start a confidential conversation.

Whether you're actively exploring new opportunities or simply open to hearing about the right one, we encourage you to apply.

Your next career move could be the one that changes the trajectory of your business for years to come.
