Associate Financial Analyst

Location: Houston, TX 77092

About the Role

Our client, a fast-growing fiber internet provider expanding across Texas, is hiring an Associate Financial Analyst to support its Financial Operations team. This is an entry-level role for someone early in their finance or accounting career who wants exposure to accounting, FP&A, forecasting, and reporting inside a high-growth, private equity-backed company.


What You'll Do

  • Support month-end close: journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Assist with AP, AR, and treasury functions.
  • Help build and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and capital projects.
  • Partner with Operations and Construction teams to analyze build-cost and unit economics.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly reports and dashboards (NetSuite and other tools).
  • Support audits, PE sponsor reporting, and process improvement initiatives.


What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or economics.
  • 1+ year of accounting or FP&A experience (relevant experience/education may substitute year-for-year).
  • Working knowledge of GAAP; advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working independently under general guidance.
  • CPA/CFA, or telecom/ISP/fiber industry experience, a plus.
