**Job Title:** Automotive Technician (Entry Level & Experienced)

**Location:** Bertera Chevrolet Palmer,MA.

**Salary Range:** $20.00 - $60.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

**Job Overview:**
As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. You will work on everything from routine maintenance to more complex repairs. This role requires a strong attention to detail, great problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using advanced testing equipment and tools.
- Read and interpret technical service manuals and specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating findings and recommendations clearly.
- Keep work area clean and organized, following all safety procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with automotive technology and repair techniques.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.

**Qualifications:**

*Entry-Level Candidates:*
- High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in automotive technology preferred.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
- Some hands-on experience through internships or personal projects is a plus.
- Strong willingness to learn and grow within the field.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

*Experienced Candidates:*
- Completion of a formal training program in automotive technology or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- ASE certification is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
