Arandell is seeking Entry-Level Bindery Technicians to join our production team, a unique opportunity for those with a passion for quality and an eye for detail. As a key player, you'll transform printed materials into the final, polished products our clients love. No experience is necessary, as we provide all the comprehensive training you'll need to operate and maintain our bindery equipment, ensuring every item meets our high standards. This full-time day-shift role offers a great work-life balance with a schedule of three to four days a week from 6 AM to 6 PM. This entry-level opportunity offers a starting pay of $17.00 - $17.50 Hourly with regularly scheduled increases up to $20.90.
WHAT YOU'LL DO ON THE A-TEAM:
  • Feed paper products into the proper pocket, checking product integrity
  • Stack products on pallets properly and orderly to maintain pallet integrity.
  • Verifies load tags and form identifications to make sure proper forms are at the machine.
  • Follows the list of duties assigned by Machine Operators.
  • Ensure labels are properly adhered and the bundles are sorted properly.
  • Ensure each bundle of mail has its own destination, there is a supplied tag for each area of bundles, that bundles are matched up with the appropriate zip codes, and load flags are properly attached to pallets.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous bindery or print finishing (cutting, folding, mailing) experience preferred but not required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong math skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to pass pre-hire requirements such as drug screen and physical.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Frequent standing.
  • Frequent use of hands to type, finger, handle, grasp or touch objects and tools.
  • Frequently required to talk or listen.
  • Frequently standing and walking, occasionally climbing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, bending, reaching.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
