Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Print Production Technician to join our production team. This entry-level position is responsible for assisting with the setup, operation, and maintenance of printing equipment while ensuring high-quality printed materials are produced efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate is organized, mechanically inclined, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate digital and/or large-format printing equipment under supervision
  • Prepare files and materials for printing jobs
  • Load paper, vinyl, ink, and other production materials into machines
  • Monitor print quality and make basic adjustments as needed
  • Trim, cut, laminate, bind, package, and finish printed products
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on equipment
  • Follow job tickets and production schedules accurately
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
  • Maintain a clean and organized production workspace
  • Assist team members with shipping, packaging, and inventory tasks
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous print shop, manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience is a plus but not required
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn print software
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
