Job Description

Responsibilities Include: 

Design, build, deliver, and publish data models and data sets to enable self-service BI for both internal customers and public consumption.

Collaborate with business partners to act as a technical evangelist for self-service business intelligence, understand objectives, deliver maximum business impact and return on investment.

Ensure the data extracts and reporting solutions are stable, supportable, extensible, and trusted by business partners. 

Required Qualifications:

Experience with SQL

Experience using Oracle and SQL Server databases required

experience with Essbase and HANA a plus.

Experience with ETL (ODI or SSIS a plus) and working with Power BI and other Business Intelligence systems; any experience with Oracle BI a plus.

Experience creating and publishing data sets on open data platforms for consumption by both internal staff and citizens.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to synthesize complex issues/scenarios into easy-to-understand concepts.

An attention to detail with self-discipline and a drive for results.

Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries.

Experience with R a plus.
