Job description

Job Summary:
Invenergy is North America’s largest privately held developer, owner, and operator of power infrastructure. The Senior Analyst, EAM role involves managing user access, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating across departments to enhance EAM functionalities and support integrations. The position requires developing reports and analytics, as well as leading testing efforts and training sessions.
Responsibilities:
• Perform User onboarding/offboarding, permission management, and access compliance administration.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex EAM/CMMS issues not resolved by Analysts.
• Evaluate, design, configure, and implement EAM functionality, workflows, and UI modifications.
• Support integrations through API testing, data mapping validation, and coordination with IT and software vendors.
• Develop SQL queries and contribute to KPIs, dashboards, and fleet-wide analytics in Power BI.
• Develop reports and visualizations using Excel, Cognos, and Power BI.
• Lead testing and validation efforts for upgrades, new features, and module rollouts.
• Contribute to training material creation and deliver training sessions for end users.
• For new releases, document findings, resolve issues, and ensure cross-functional readiness.
• Maintain configuration documentation, workflow diagrams, and system usage standards.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Accounting, Procurement, and Business Transformation on system improvements.
• Participate in site visits to better understand maintenance activities and operational data flow.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field
• Proficiency in SQL, or related programming languages, including joins, aggregations, and data validation.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex workflows, data mining, and configuration issues independently.
• Experience leading testing efforts (UAT, regression) and documenting technical findings.
• Demonstrated ability to design or optimize workflows, screens, or configurations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate cross‑functional problem-solving.
• Collaborate with Administrators to support documentation, workflow clarification, and readiness for system changes.
• Ability to travel up to 10–20% to support training, testing, and site coordination.
• Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Preferred:
• Advanced SQL capabilities, including performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience with workflow configuration, screen design, or module setup in Octave (HxGN) EAM or another enterprise CMMS.
• Hands-on experience supporting integrations, APIs, middleware, or interface troubleshooting.
• Experience with data lakes, data warehousing, or BI pipelines.
• Ability to build Power BI dashboards or KPI models.
• Exposure to reliability engineering concepts such as MTBF, failure codes, asset criticality scoring, or ISO 14224 hierarchy standards.
• Experience leading small projects or functional workstreams (e.g., module rollout, upgrade testing, audit readiness).
• Experience mentoring or training junior Analysts.
