JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

In this role, you will analyze data to provide actionable insights that help drive key business decisions. You will work closely with business units to understand their data needs and deliver reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes, data analysis techniques, and BI tools to support data-driven decision-making within the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc business performance reports to leadership and stakeholders.

Business Intelligence Development

  • Utilize BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView) to create interactive reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand their reporting requirements and create tailored BI solutions.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports and insights as requested by leadership or other departments.

Data Quality and Governance

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness by monitoring data sources and recommending improvements.
  • Maintain and optimize data models and structures to support efficient reporting and analysis.
  • Work closely with IT and data teams to improve data collection and data quality standards.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Communicate findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business performance.
  • Support cross-functional teams in making data-driven decisions based on BI insights.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques (e.g., regression analysis, forecasting).
  • Experience working with large datasets and knowledge of data governance best practices.
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R is a plus

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Must be able to sit for long periods of time, Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs., Must be able to drive
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
