Description

Arctic Cat is hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to support both strategic sourcing initiatives and tactical, day-to-day operational execution. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to drive visibility, accountability, and performance throughout the supply base. This position is located in Thief River Falls, MN.


Primary Responsibilities 

  • Develop and maintain datasets and analytical tools that support sourcing strategy, procurement operations, supplier performance, and material availability using Excel and Power BI.
  • Analyze cost, quality, delivery, and capacity data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities across the supply chain.
  • Support multi-year strategic sourcing and contracting initiatives, including bid package development, supplier analysis.
  • Build supplier roadmaps, supplier accountability metrics, and capacity planning models to drive visibility and supplier performance. 
  • Lead initiatives focused on cost reduction, supply continuity, and operational excellence.
  • Establish datasets and packages for strategic contracting.  
  • Identify and implement strategies for cost out opportunities.  
  • Provide mentorship to analysts to help others develop sourcing and procurement skills and knowledge.
  • Serve as a resource for other analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in sourcing and procurement best practices. 

Requirements


  • Supply Chain experience or training required, including experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or operational improvement initiatives. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related  field required; Master's degree preferred.  
  • Software Knowledge: Oracle or SAP, MRP systems helpful. 


Expertise:

  • Must bring analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to interpret complex data and translate insights into action. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and project coordination skills. 
  • Experience with supplier management, contracting, procurement systems, or supply chain analytics preferred.
