Job description

Responsibilities

  • Understand the Priority issues related to data flow or business impact and identify the root cause.
  • Work closely on a day-to-day basis with the customer, customer managers, and the rest of the EDW team on production support.
  • Provide daily support status updates for the leadership team for incident analysis, team meetings.
  • Represent ABCloudZ and EDW Support in meetings with various business teams and provide appropriate inputs for business decisions.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve performance issues.
  • Work with enterprise engineering on system and infrastructure maintenance, database server maintenance changes, and activities. 
  • Closely work with the network, platform engineering, and DBA teams to support system impacts.
  • Gather relevant technical information of the issues from business teams and work with the team on fixing those issues.
  • Support team with documentation for any Standard Operational Procedures of dealing with production issues.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing BI solutions.
  • Expertise in working with SQL, SSAS, SSIS (ETL), SSAS, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, T-SQL, SQL Server, Azure.
  • Understanding and experience in data visualization using Power BI. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues with SQL Server.
  • Experience with Azure.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Being an excellent team player, leading and collaborating with other team members.
