Role: Power BI Administrator with Deployment & Migration experience
Location: Dallas, TX - (Hybrid)
Power BI Administrator for Server Migration
• Document existing Power BI deployment
• Workspaces/Teams/End Users
• Usage metrics
• Dependencies on Gateway Servers
• Power BI Version
• Devise plan to upgrade Power BI to latest version, and steps for future upgrades to stay up to date with the monthly updates.
• Devise plan to migrate 2 Gateway servers to new servers and new data center, potentially keeping legacy server names with minimal impact to production environment.
• Document server details, plan, and timelines
• Create test plan and validation for server migrations
• Migrate and upgrade prod server
• Provide support and adjustments as needed
