A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ENTRY-LEVEL PLUMBER / HELPER

As an Entry-Level Plumber / Helper, you are eager to learn! You ask questions, observe, and emulate the values we adhere to here at Lanz Heating & Cooling, Inc. You go out in the field with experienced plumbers and help install, maintain, diagnose, and repair heating, plumbing, and drainage systems for both commercial and residential customers. As you assist them, they mentor and train you on everything from how to talk with customers to how to properly install and service plumbing systems. You are a hard worker who does whatever is asked of you and pays close attention to what you're being taught. In order to expand your knowledge and skills, you also spend some of your time taking classes. You are excited to be part of our team and can't wait to advance in this stable and well-paid career!


QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ENTRY-LEVEL PLUMBER / HELPER

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanically inclined
  • No experience necessary
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Ability and willingness to work from 28' extension ladder, from 12' step ladder, in confined spaces, and in a variety of weather conditions
  • Ability to lift or move objects up to 100 lbs.
  • Customer service skills
