POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Maintenance Technician I to support our Facilities Team. This is an entry-level to intermediate role responsible for assisting with general maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC support, painting, preventative maintenance, event setups, and light cleaning duties.  This position is ideal for someone looking to grow their skills in commercial maintenance while working alongside an experienced team. We value hard work, dedication, and teamwork, and are committed to providing the best possible experience for our residents, guests, and golfers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Assist with routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.

Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.

Perform basic repairs in common areas, including painting, drywall, minor plumbing, and general upkeep.

Support senior technicians and Facilities Manager with more complex repairs and projects.

Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed, including some cleaning.

Perform light cleaning duties such as trash removal and cleaning spills when necessary.

Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.

Communicate effectively with the Facilities Manager and team regarding work progress and issues.

Help inspect and maintain safety systems, including fire alarms and emergency exits.

Coordinate with team members and vendors as directed.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.
