Job description

Piper I

Pay: $20/hr

Shift: Monday-Thursday (6am-4:30pm); occasional overtime on Fridays.

Description:

  • This is an entry-level position to learn the process of assembly and installation of pipes in units by performing the following duties in reasonable and productive frames:

Qualifications:

  • Preferred prior brazing experience
  • Ability to use acetylene and oxygen torch set.
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints
  • Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/8th inch
  • Must be able to use hand tools.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • INTERVIEW INFO - HAVE TO BRAZE A HOLE IN A COPPER PIPE AND FILL A STRAIGHT VALVE

Job Duties

  • Cuts, threads, and bends pipe with a Hydraulic Pipe Bender.
  • Assembles and installs variety of metal and nonmetal pipes, tubes, and fittings; including iron, steel, copper and plastic.
  • Train and work in multiple types of manufacturing positions (i.e. assembly, paint, wire and weld).
  • Other duties as assigned.
