Entry-Level Assistant Golf Professional

Mystic Creek Golf Club, located in beautiful El Dorado, Arkansas, offers Members and Guests a resort-style experience on one of the premier golf courses in the country. With towering cathedral pines and greens inspired by the iconic layouts of Augusta and Pinehurst No. 2, our 18-hole championship course delivers an unforgettable round of golf.
Ranked the #1 golf course in Arkansas and #43 in the U.S. by GolfWeek, Mystic Creek has hosted a variety of prestigious events, including collegiate tournaments, PGA Section Championships, USGA Qualifiers, and the annual Epson Tour's El Dorado Shootout.
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Entry-Level Assistant Golf Professional who is passionate about building a career in golf operations. This is a unique opportunity to work at a well-renown facility and alongside a PGA Professional with over 15 years' experience in the industry. If you're enthusiastic about learning, ready to take the first step in your golf career, and have the opportunity for advancement, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional service to members and guests at all times
  • Assist with daily golf shop operations, including opening/closing duties
  • Support outside operations with 2-3 shifts per week (bag drop, cart setup, etc.)
  • Assist in the planning and execution of golf tournaments and club events
  • Participate in merchandise operations including ordering, receiving, displaying, and inventory control
  • Engage with members through regular play and fostering relationships
  • Receive mentorship and training in teaching and club repair (gripping, re-shafting, etc.)
  • Learn and utilize Gallus Golf tournament software
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
  • Must have some level of golf playing ability

Schedule
5-day work weeks in the off-season
Up to 6-day work weeks during the peak season (based on club schedule)
