Responsibilities:

Greet patients warmly upon arrival, creating a welcoming and trusting environment in the lobby area.

Assist patients with check-in procedures using self-service kiosks or handheld tablets, guiding them through the process seamlessly.

Maintain the integrity and cleanliness of the waiting area, ensuring a comfortable and professional environment.

Provide accurate and compassionate support during patient interactions, answering questions and addressing concerns with care.

Perform phlebotomy procedures with confidence and professionalism, following established safety, specimen collection, and processing protocols.

Support laboratory staff by assisting with specimen labeling, documentation, and other technical tasks as needed.

Provide coverage for breaks and staffing shortages in both the lobby and draw room, ensuring continuous patient support.

Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with privacy policies and regulatory standards.

Uphold safety guidelines, compliance standards, and confidentiality at all times, demonstrating organizational commitment and professionalism.

Cultivate excellent customer service skills, promoting a positive experience for patients, staff, and visitors.

Required Skills:

Proven high-level customer service experience, ideally within retail, healthcare, or related client-facing roles.

Valid phlebotomy experience, even if acquired through internships or externships, with demonstrated knowledge of specimen collection procedures.

Strong keyboard and data entry skills to accurately document patient information and test data.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain procedures clearly and empathetically.

Ability to handle patients with care and compassion, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence.

Familiarity with kiosk or tablet-based check-in systems.

Organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping.

Flexibility to assist with various roles across the lobby and draw room as needed.

Nice to Have Skills:

Bilingual proficiency in Vietnamese and English, enhancing communication with a diverse patient community.

Experience working in clinical environments or healthcare settings beyond basic phlebotomy.

Additional certifications such as CPR or healthcare-related licenses.

Preferred Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

1-2 years of client-facing customer service experience, ideally in healthcare, retail, or home health settings.

Prior phlebotomy experience, including internships or externships, demonstrating foundational skills in specimen collection.
