Label Machine Operator (Printing/Manufacturing Equipment)

Iconex | Liverpool, NY

Night Shift: Sunday-Thursday | 10:00 PM-6:00 AM

Total Potential Pay: $26.50–$28.50/hour (Base Pay: $23.00–$25.00/hour + $3.50/hour Night Shift Differential)

Looking for Experienced Machine Operators

If you've operated production equipment in a manufacturing environment and enjoy troubleshooting machinery, maintaining quality, and keeping production running efficiently, we'd like to talk with you.

This is not an entry-level production position. We are seeking candidates with experience operating industrial machinery, preferably in printing, labels, packaging, converting, paper, plastics, or similar manufacturing environments.

What You'll Do

As a Label Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for safely operating and maintaining high-speed label manufacturing equipment while producing quality products that meet customer specifications.

You'll:

  • Set up, operate, adjust, and troubleshoot label manufacturing equipment
  • Perform machine changeovers and optimize machine performance
  • Conduct quality inspections using measuring devices including calipers, rulers, and gauges
  • Complete minor mechanical adjustments and preventative maintenance
  • Prepare and monitor inks, adhesives, coatings, and raw materials
  • Identify quality issues and make machine adjustments to correct them
  • Record production, downtime, and quality data using computer systems
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area following 6S standards
  • Work closely with Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams
  • Follow all safety procedures and proactively identify potential hazards

What We're Looking For

Required

  • At least 2 years operating industrial manufacturing equipment
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment during production
  • Comfortable making machine adjustments to maintain quality and productivity
  • Ability to read work instructions and production specifications
  • Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, rulers, or gauges
  • Ability to stand for an entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong attendance and reliability
