Job description

Fast growing, successful and well respected personal injury law firm based in West Palm Beach County, Florida is looking for an attorney to join their team of dedicated personal injury attorneys. This firm prides itself in providing exceptional advocacy and representation to people throughout South Florida who have been hurt by the careless conduct of another person or entity.

Qualified candidates must have at least 1-3 years of experience as an attorney handling personal injury cases. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: independently managing a large caseload of which 95%-98% will be motor vehicle accident cases. The caseload will predominantly consist of pre-suit cases with some litigation duties, finding ethical solutions to legal matters, negotiating settlements with insurance carriers, covering PIP recorded statements and PIP Examinations Under Oath, drafting pleadings, written discovery and motions and arguing motions and covering depositions. This position is full time and onsite.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Must have no more than 1-3 years of experience as an attorney handling personal injury cases
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in evaluating personal injury claims in Florida
  • Must be a Florida licensed attorney in good standing with Florida Bar, with no disciplinary or malpractice history
  • Must have outstanding academic credentials
  • Must have knowledge of federal and state statues, court rules, forms, processes, and procedures that apply to personal injury practice in Florida including Fla. Stat. §627.736, §627.727, §768.76
  • Must be a self-starter driven by long-term career goals
  • Must have superior oral and written advocacy skills
  • Must be team oriented
