  • Administer therapeutic modalities—such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy—under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Monitor and accurately document each patient’s progress, assessing improvements in strength, range of motion, and overall functional capacity.
  • Maintain organized treatment areas and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are prepared for ongoing therapy sessions.

  • Provide emotional encouragement to patients, cultivating a supportive and motivating environment for them to thrive.
  • Adhere strictly to professional and ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and respect for individual rights throughout the treatment process.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and managing chronic conditions. Our clinic is designed to cater to individuals of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric patients, allowing you to apply your skills in various therapeutic contexts. Your expertise will directly influence their rehabilitation outcomes and quality of life.

Qualifications
  • Completion of an Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Possession of a valid state license or certification authorizing practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and the principles of therapeutic interventions within physical therapy.
  • Ability to implement and adapt therapeutic exercises effectively, collaborating closely with supervising therapists.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the development of rapport with patients and effective teamwork with healthcare professionals.
  • A patient-centered mindset, driven by a genuine desire to assist individuals in reaching their rehabilitation goals.
  • Flexibility in adjusting treatment plans to accommodate the diverse needs of our patient population.
  • Detail-oriented with adept organizational and time-management capabilities.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying updated with advancements in physical therapy practices.
Preferred Experience
