What You ll Do
- Conduct metabolic exercise stress testing for pediatric patients using Vyaire equipment
- Develop and adjust individualized exercise, training, and nutrition programs
- Perform and interpret ECGs and other physiological measurements
- Set up, check, and operate stress testing equipment following physician guidelines
- Explain testing procedures and provide patient education
- Record test data, calculate parameters, and interpret results for diagnostic purposes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care and recovery
- Adapt therapeutic interventions based on physiological responses and patient needs
What You Need
Required:
- Bachelor s degree in Clinical Exercise or related field; Master s preferred
- Current BLS (AHA) and PALS (AHA) certifications (Pediatric experience required/recommended)
- 2+ years of direct cardiac/pulmonary patient care experience in an acute or rehab setting
- Experience with pediatric metabolic exercise stress testing and Vyaire equipment highly preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently within scope of practice
Preferred:
- Cardiac or Pulmonary Rehabilitation internship of 400+ hours
- Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification (ACSM Registry)
