Summary of Job Responsibilities:This position is primarily responsible for the Payroll and Benefits administration in Human Resources; however, it also involves employment activity, some employee relations and reporting. Accountable for complying with all Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations, bank policies and procedures.Essential Duties:Processes payroll in a timely and accurate manner. Ensures all appropriate paperwork has been completed and approved prior to making changes to the payroll database. Processes all paperwork for new hires, terminations and position changes.Coordinates and conducts new hire orientation.Processes all benefit changes (i.e. medical, dental, vision, life, 401k etc.) and ensures all appropriate paperwork has been completed and approved prior to making the changes. Tracks applicant logs for EEOC and Vets reportingAssists management in employee relations issues (e.g. coaching, counseling and warnings)Posts job openings, screens applicants for entry level positions, extend offers of employment.Administers and tracks FMLA program.Maintains job descriptionsFiles and maintains Employee's filesSkills And Abilities Required:The ability to maintain confidentiality of payroll and Human Resources information is essential.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and applicants.Minimum Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentTwo years' experience in Human Resources, with a minimum of one-year direct payroll experience. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Working with Paylocity and Inquirehire is a plus.SPHR designation preferred.Working Conditions: Generally good, minimum discomfort from noise, heat dust, and other causes.
