Job Description: Part Delivery Specialist

Job Reports To: Customer Care Manager and Assistant Customer Care Manager

CORE COMPETENCIES AND JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Texas driver's license with clear driving record
  • MVR required (no exceptions)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent or minimum five years' work experience.
  • Able to organize, prioritize, and complete deliveries within deadlines.
  • Able to communicate positively and clearly with peers, managers, and customers

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for delivering parts to customers, job sites, and retailers in multiple states.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities are as follows. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Gather parts for shipping.
  • Loads, secures, verifies, and unloads cargo.
  • Keep parts truck clean and ensure maintenance is performed in a timely manner.
  • Operates a truck that transports cargo to and from specified destinations.
  • Travel would be required Monday - Friday and some weekends.
  • Able to be away from home multiple days and nights when required.
  • Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of

goods to ensure timely service.

  • Maintains radio or telephone contact with Customer Care Parts Manager to receive

instructions for scheduled delivery or pick up.

  • Assists as directed by Customer Care Manager during inventory.
  • Other tasks as directed.

  • Ability to communicate well with others
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work on a flexible hour's schedule
  • Ability to team lift upwards of 100 lbs.
