Job description

The Painter Helper will support a small residential painting crew, assisting the Lead Painter and team members with various tasks to ensure efficient project completion. This role involves preparing surfaces, handling materials, maintaining tools, and adhering to safety standards on-site. Regular local travel is required to residential projects, working closely within a team of 2-3 people.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, and sanding
  • Handle and transport painting materials and equipment
  • Clean painting tools and equipment after use
  • Assist painters during application, including mixing paints
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, complying with safety standards
