Entry Level Paid Training information

What is entry level paid training?

Entry level paid training refers to programs or positions where individuals with little or no prior experience are hired and provided with training while being paid. These roles are designed to help newcomers learn the necessary skills and knowledge for a particular job or industry. Paid training ensures that new hires can earn an income as they gain hands-on experience, making it an attractive option for people starting their careers or switching fields. Employers benefit by developing skilled workers who are trained to meet their specific needs.

What can I expect from the structure and content of an entry level paid training program?

Entry level paid training programs typically combine classroom instruction with hands-on experience, allowing you to learn both the theoretical and practical aspects of the job. You can expect to work closely with trainers, mentors, and fellow trainees in a supportive environment, often progressing through modules that cover essential job functions, company policies, and industry best practices. Regular assessments and feedback sessions are common to track your progress and address any challenges early on. These programs are designed to help you build confidence, develop key skills, and transition smoothly into your new role.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in an entry level position with paid training, and why are they important?

To succeed in an entry-level role with paid training, you generally need a high school diploma or equivalent, a willingness to learn, and basic organizational skills. Familiarity with standard office software or industry-specific tools may be beneficial, but most technical skills are taught during training. Strong communication, reliability, and a proactive attitude help you stand out and quickly adapt to new environments. These qualities are essential for successful onboarding, rapid skill acquisition, and long-term growth within the organization.

Job description

BUILD YOUR SALES CAREER WITH A GROWING HOME IMPROVEMENT COMPANY

No sales experience? No problem. We'll train you.

The Home Living Company is a growing home improvement company backed by 22 years of industry experience from its leadership team. While THLC is only 7 years old, our leadership brings decades of experience helping homeowners find high-quality solutions for their homes.

We're looking for motivated, outgoing individuals who want to learn sales, earn, and build a long-term career.

SELL PRODUCTS HOMEOWNERS WANT

This opportunity focuses primarily on two of our fastest-moving products:

  • JellyFish Lighting – Premium permanent exterior lighting and one of the fastest-growing categories in home improvement
  • MasterShield Gutter Guards – High-quality gutter protection designed to help homeowners protect their homes and eliminate gutter maintenance

You'll also have the opportunity to sell premium shading, blinds, shutters, and window covering solutions.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Paid training and ongoing coaching
  • High-demand home improvement products
  • Competitive earning potential
  • Career advancement opportunities
  • Experienced leadership and mentorship
  • Growing company with a strong industry foundation
  • Opportunity to build valuable sales skills
  • Supportive, customer-focused team environment

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Meet with homeowners and identify their needs
  • Present JellyFish Lighting, MasterShield, and other home improvement solutions
  • Educate customers on products and benefits
  • Conduct professional in-home consultations
  • Build relationships and create an exceptional customer experience
  • Follow up with prospects and manage sales opportunities
  • Work toward individual sales goals

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Motivated and goal-oriented
  • Confident and comfortable talking with homeowners
  • Coachable and eager to learn
  • Strong work ethic
  • Professional and customer-focused
  • Reliable transportation

Previous sales experience is a plus, but NOT required.

WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY?

You're not walking into a stale sales industry selling something homeowners don't want. JellyFish Lighting is a rapidly growing home improvement category that's gaining serious momentum, while MasterShield provides another strong solution for homeowners.

You'll have the opportunity to get in early, learn from experienced industry leaders, and grow alongside a company that's expanding.

READY TO GET STARTED?

If you're hungry to learn, motivated to earn, and looking for a career with real growth potential, we want to meet you.

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. PAID TRAINING PROVIDED.

APPLY TODAY AND START BUILDING YOUR SALES CAREER WITH THE HOME LIVING COMPANY.

Company Description

The Home Living Company is a Northern California home improvement company specializing in premium interior window treatments and outdoor living solutions throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

With more than 20 years of industry experience, the company helps homeowners create more comfortable, functional, and beautiful spaces through customized solutions rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Their services include plantation shutters, drapery, motorized shades, window blinds, retractable awnings, exterior shades, patio covers, gazebos, and other indoor and outdoor shading solutions.

The Home Living Company is built around a customer-first philosophy they call “Design From YOU Forward.” Their approach focuses on understanding each homeowner's goals, needs, style, and budget before recommending a solution. The company also emphasizes professional installation, premium products, and providing a high-quality experience from consultation through completion.

Their culture is guided by six core values: Customer Comes First, Integrity, Service, Enthusiasm, Teamwork, and Accountability. For someone looking to build a career in the home improvement industry, The Home Living Company offers the opportunity to represent products that make a visible difference in customers' homes while being part of a team focused on quality, service, and doing things the right way.
