Materials Analyst
We are AUTOKINITON (pronounced auto-ken-i-TAHN)

To help us drive excellence, you'll get to:
  • Support the Company's mission, vision, values, and goals in the performance of daily activities.
  • Assist in completing cycle counts and verifying current inventory.
  • Assist in adjusting and communicating the adjustments to Finance. Entering the approved adjustments into QAD.
  • Update the tracking spreadsheets accurately.
  • Accurate maintenance of inventory and records, and timely entry of receipts into the business system.
  • Set-up and maintenance of the auto-label printers.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new processes to improve departmental efficiency.
  • Partner with Quality colleagues on maintenance of materials/quality systems.
  • Assist in plant inventory reduction efforts.
  • Provide key input into the development of departmental strategic goals along with identifying key measurable to support the departmental goals.
  • Interact with Operations, Shipping, Receiving, Warehouse and Packaging associates.
  • Utilize teamwork to develop plant synergy and create a positive work environment.
  • Supply daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports as required.
  • Participate in team problem solving activities and process improvement activities (ex. 8 D Reporting, Kaizen, etc.).
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping in work area.
  • Adhere to all company policies & procedures (ex. Quality Policy Manual, Colleague Handbook, Level II Procedures, etc).

This full-time, salaried role is a part of our Materials team and reports to the Materials Manager.
Required experience:
  • Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent experience. Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum of six (6) or more years experience in materials.
  • Good computer skills. Ability to use Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to assume responsibility with the corresponding authority and accountability. Results oriented.
  • Excellent follow-up and accountability skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Ability to read and write in English and perform mathematical calculations.
