Job Title: Actuation Engineer Intern (Summer 2027)

Reporting To: Section Head, Mech Systems Engineering

Work Schedule: Onsite – Torrance, CA

The Actuation team within our Military Aircraft Group is seeking a summer block intern. The intern will have an onsite work schedule in Torrance, CA.

Requirements
  • Enrolled in an Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Bachelor's or Master's Degree program, at an accredited university.
  • GPA of at least 3.0; exact GPA requirement will be specified by department.
  • Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
  • Students within the Moog U.S. Internship Program are expected to have a professional disposition, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the successful development of new products, components, or assemblies.
  • Work experience may include conceptual or detail design, proposal design, writing technical reports, or part selection.
  • Provide technical support to engineers, as needed.
  • Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
  • Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team of creative, independent individuals.
  • Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation.

Salary Range Transparency

Torrance, CA $28.00–$35.00 Hourly Salary Range
