Are you someone who loves working hands-on, enjoys traveling, and takes pride in transforming designs into real-world displays? Blair Image Elements is looking for a Field Installer to join our team!
As a Field Installer, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and professional installation of signage at various client sites. This is a fast-paced, physical role where precision and attention to detail are key to maintaining our reputation for excellence in signage and branding. Installation crews travel to a local site, out of town, or out of state to perform installs. Those installs range from simple 1 to 2 day projects to multiple weeks on site to complete a project. Amount of out-of-town work varies from time to time but generally is 60 to 70 percent of the time with bonus pay for out-of-town work.

What you'll be doing:
  • Handling materials to off load, inspect, and stage material in preparation for install
  • Ensure company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines are followed at all times
  • Develop/expand knowledge of proper handling of materials/tools, and approved methods of installation
  • Ensure materials, tools, and equipment needed for each job are properly loaded into trucks and maintained
  • Communicate with the team to aid in understanding and enhance satisfaction with our customer
  • Regular and punctual attendance; ability to work overtime, flexible hours as needed and out-of-town work

What we're looking for:
  • Construction experience, preferably a minimum of 1 year
  • Good customer service skills
  • Experience using power tools
  • Understanding of plans or blueprints
  • Verbal communication and listening skills
  • Ability to write legibly and error-free
  • Ability to complete physically intensive work and follow direction

Physical Requirements:
  • Working on aerial platforms from time to time, kneeling, crouching
  • Standing for extended periods of time
  • Carrying, climbing, pulling, sitting
  • Ability to work in different weather environments including cold and heat
  • Ability to regularly work at heights from 20' and on rare occasions up to 150'

Job Requirements:
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, have reliable transportation, and be willing and able to tow a trailer when needed
  • Must observe all safety rules and policies at all times with materials and tools
  • Mature, trustworthy, dependable
  • Willingness to travel often
