Job description

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST - OUTPATIENT
Aspirus Stanley Hospital, Stanley, WI
Full Time (.8 FTE, 64 hours every pay period)
(4) 8-hour days, one day off per week

We are looking for OTR candidates with strong orthopedic upper extremity adult neurological, and some lymphedema experience
The Occupational Therapist provides outpatient occupational therapy to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with orthopedic and neurological diagnosis. Evaluates, treats, and plans patient care in accordance with Occupational Therapy standards, considering the needs of the patient as it pertains to the age and diagnosis of the patient.
Experience/Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy standards and practices is normally acquired through a minimum of a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy.
  • Previous experience as an outpatient orthopedic Occupational Therapist is strongly preferred.
  • Current Wisconsin and/or Michigan Occupational Therapy license required.
  • Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training through independent study, manikin, and knowledge testing. An acceptable CPR training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.
