Experienced Behavioral Health Clinician

Impireum Psychiatric Group

Position Overview

Impireum Psychiatric Group is seeking an experienced, high-performing Physician Assistant (PA-C) with established psychiatric and behavioral health experience to join our growing multi-state behavioral health organization.

This role is specifically designed for clinicians with prior psychiatry experience who are seeking to practice within a physician-led, structured, outcomes-driven psychiatric model focused on quality, operational excellence, accountability, and measurable patient outcomes.

This is not an entry-level psychiatry position.

We are only considering candidates with direct psychiatric clinical experience in behavioral health settings.

The ideal candidate is clinically strong, operationally disciplined, emotionally mature, and comfortable functioning within a high-accountability psychiatric environment.

About Impireum

Impireum Psychiatric Group is a multi-state integrated behavioral health organization focused on:

  • psychiatry,
  • psychotherapy,
  • advanced psychiatric treatment modalities,
  • and Neuro-Wellness integration.

Our care model combines:

  • physician-led oversight,
  • standardized workflows,
  • measurable KPI expectations,

to improve long-term patient outcomes rather than volume-driven treatment.

Core Responsibilities

Psychiatric Clinical Care

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
  • Diagnose and manage behavioral health conditions across the lifespan
  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications under physician supervision
  • Perform medication follow-up visits and treatment adjustments
  • Assess and manage psychiatric safety risks, including suicidal ideation and crisis escalation
  • Develop evidence-based psychiatric treatment plans
  • Collaborate closely with therapists, psychiatrists, and clinical support teams
  • Participate in integrated treatment planning and continuity-of-care workflows

Operational & Documentation Responsibilities

  • Maintain timely and audit-ready psychiatric documentation
  • Complete same-day documentation in accordance with organizational standards
  • Follow established psychiatric workflows and SOPs
  • Participate in KPI and quality initiatives
  • Support continuity-of-care and patient retention efforts
  • Participate in hybrid care delivery models including telehealth and in-person psychiatry

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & INDUSTRY STANDARDS

Required Qualifications

  • Active unrestricted Physician Assistant license
  • NCCPA certification required
  • Active DEA registration
  • Minimum of 2 years recent outpatient psychiatry or behavioral health experience strongly preferred
  • Direct psychiatric medication management experience REQUIRED
  • Experience treating common psychiatric conditions independently
  • Strong psychopharmacology knowledge required
  • Strong behavioral health assessment and risk evaluation skills required

Industry-Standard Preferred Experience

Competitive psychiatry PA candidates typically demonstrate experience in:

  • outpatient psychiatry,
  • community mental health,
  • telepsychiatry,
  • integrated behavioral health,
  • addiction psychiatry,
  • or physician-led psychiatric practices.

Preferred candidates should also have experience managing:

  • depression,
  • anxiety disorders,
  • ADHD,
  • PTSD,
  • bipolar disorders,
  • insomnia,
  • mood disorders,
  • and high-acuity psychiatric populations.

Strongly Preferred Qualifications

  • Multi-state licensure or willingness to obtain additional state licenses
  • Experience with child/adolescent psychiatry
  • Telepsychiatry experience
  • Experience within structured psychiatric workflow environments
  • Experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW)
  • Experience with Spravato, TMS, or advanced psychiatric treatment programs preferred
  • Experience functioning within KPI-driven or outcomes-based environments preferred

IMPORTANT APPLICANT NOTICE

Psychiatry experience is REQUIRED.

We are ONLY hiring Physician Assistants with direct psychiatric or behavioral health clinical experience.

Please do not submit a resume unless you have prior psychiatry experience, psychiatric medication management experience, and behavioral health treatment experience.

This requirement is non-negotiable for consideration.

What Makes This Opportunity Different

Physician-Led Clinical Model

You will work directly within a highly structured psychiatric environment designed to support clinical quality, continuity, and operational consistency.

Outcomes-Driven Care

Our model prioritizes:

  • measurable patient outcomes,
  • continuity,
  • quality,
  • and long-term stability

rather than high-volume transactional care.

Integrated Neuro-Wellness Environment

Providers collaborate across:

  • psychiatry,
  • therapy,
  • advanced psychiatric services,
  • and integrated wellness pathways.

Structured Operational Support

Impireum utilizes:

  • standardized workflows,
  • KPI tracking,
  • documentation standards,
  • and operational systems

designed to support providers rather than overwhelm them.

Compensation & Growth

  • Competitive base compensation
  • KPI-based bonus opportunities
  • Multi-state licensure support
  • Defined advancement pathways within the Impireum Clinical System (ICS)
  • Leadership and expansion growth opportunities for high-performing clinicians

The strongest candidates will demonstrate:

  • strong psychiatric clinical judgment,
  • psychopharmacology confidence,
  • operational reliability,
  • emotional maturity,
  • professionalism under pressure,

  • and alignment with structured, performance-driven psychiatric environments.

This role is best suited for clinicians who want to grow within a scalable psychiatric organization focused on:

accountability, quality, operational excellence, and measurable behavioral health outcomes.
