POSITION SUMMARYThe Fork Lift Operator I position is an entry-level role responsible for the safe and efficient handling of materials within the facility. This position ensures the accurate receipt, storage, and delivery of materials to designated locations. Fork Lift Operator I assist with the daily operations of the shop by moving, organizing, and maintaining materials in support of production needs.Role and Responsibilities
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and transport them within the facility.
  • Organize and stack materials in assigned locations.
  • Maintain clear labeling and organization of materials.
  • Report materials moved to ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Adhere to company safety standards and report unsafe conditions.
  • Deliver necessary materials to various workstations.
  • Ensure materials are labeled and stored properly to avoid safety risks.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Adequate work experience may be substituted in lieu of a diploma or GED.
  • No prior experience is required, though experience in manufacturing environments is a plus.
  • Must be able to read and interpret written instructions such as production schedules.
