Job description

Job Overview
Priority Wire and Cable is currently in need of a self-starter who can quickly contribute and complement our team! It is an entry level Staff Engineer for our Chesapeake, VA office . The position will offer fantastic benefits and the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally!
Duties & Responsibilities:
Some of your duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist in providing technical support to the company sales group, operation group and customers.
  • Assist in reviewing products quality and quality standards.
  • Assist in reviewing and updating products specifications.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating products listings/approvals from listing bodies and customers.
  • Participate in technical research and preparing for technical presentations.
  • Preparing/providing product certifications/test reports.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university majoring in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Has interpersonal communication and technical writing skills and be a team player.
  • Prior internship or working experience in related field is preferred.
  • Wire & cable industry working experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite.
