Job description

About Us:

Daisy is a tech-driven residential property management company on a mission to improve the way people live by transforming the way buildings run. In just three years, weโ€™ve grown to manage over 250 buildings. Our team is collaborative, moves quickly, and is passionate about disrupting an outdated industry and making a real difference in peopleโ€™s lives.

Overview:

Weโ€™re hiring an entry-level Operations Associate to support our facilities operations team and help keep buildings running smoothly day to day.

This role is ideal for someone who is naturally curious, learns fast, and enjoys solving real-world problems. You donโ€™t need years of experience โ€” but you do need strong judgment, follow-through, and the ability to spot patterns in small issues before they become bigger ones.

Facilities work is hands-on, fast-moving, and unpredictable. The best people in this role are calm under pressure, eager to learn, and always looking for ways to make systems better.

What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Support daily facilities operations across repairs, maintenance, vendor coordination, and urgent building issues
  • Track open tasks, follow-ups, and next steps to ensure nothing gets missed
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams, vendors, and building stakeholders
  • Help document workflows and build repeatable processes as the team scales
  • Identify recurring problems (ex: repeated leaks, access issues, vendor delays) and flag trends early
  • Assist with operational reporting, photos, documentation, and issue tracking
  • Learn and adopt new tools, systems, and AI-driven workflows to reduce manual work
  • Step into messy situations with a mindset of: โ€œWhatโ€™s the real problem here, and whatโ€™s the next best action?โ€
  • Maintenance issues are tracked clearly and resolved faster
  • The team feels more organized because follow-ups and execution are tight
  • Recurring building problems are identified early, not after the third escalation
  • Processes become easier to follow and better documented over time
  • You grow quickly into a trusted operator who can take on more ownership

๏ปฟWhat You Bring:

  • Strong willingness to learn โ€” you pick up new systems, concepts, and processes quickly
  • Critical thinking skills โ€” you donโ€™t just complete tasks, you understand whatโ€™s behind them
  • High ownership โ€” you close loops and follow through without being chased
  • Ability to notice patterns: small problems donโ€™t stay small, and you think ahead
  • Clear communication and comfort working with many stakeholders
  • Interest in facilities, operations, real estate, or how physical systems run
  • Calm, practical, and dependable in fast-moving environments
  • Nice to Have:
  • Any experience in property management, facilities, construction, service operations, or customer support
  • Familiarity with tools like Airtable, Zendesk, Google Workspace, or maintenance ticketing systems
  • Interest in automation, AI tools, or operational improvement

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $16-$18 an hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a 1099 position.
