Job description

Waves Express Car Wash is seeking a high energy and results driven Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations at one of our Upstate locations. This is a hands on leadership role for someone who leads from the front, takes ownership of results, and thrives in a fast paced environment.
This is not a desk job and not an entry level position. The right candidate is driven, accountable, and motivated to grow into a Site Manager role.
Job Summary
As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting site performance, developing team members, and ensuring a high level of customer experience. You will work side by side with your team each day, setting the standard for effort, attitude, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop frontline team members to deliver consistent high quality service
  • Take ownership of the customer experience by resolving issues quickly and professionally
  • Drive revenue through strong execution of wash package and membership sales
  • Support site financial performance including labor management and inventory control
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient operation including tunnel, vacuums, equipment, and chemicals
  • Open and close the site while ensuring procedures and cash handling are executed accurately
  • Load vehicles safely and efficiently into the wash tunnel
  • Hold team members accountable to performance standards and expectations
  • Assist with basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Uphold company standards policies and culture at all times

Requirements
  • Self motivated leader who takes initiative and ownership
  • Comfortable being accountable for performance and results
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coach and develop others
  • High level of energy and work ethic in a fast paced environment
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules including rotating weekends
  • Ability to travel between Upstate locations as needed
  • Previous car wash management or leadership experience preferred
  • Candidates without direct experience may be considered for Manager-in-Training
