PLEASE NOTE: This role is based out of CRS's Cincinnati Tri-County office and requires regular in-person attendance, (up to 5-days per week with the potential to work in a hybrid capacity).

Based in Springdale, Ohio, CRS team prides themselves on helping clients reach their retirement objectives with creative solutions and plans that are tailored to their unique needs. CRS is an operating partner of Strongpoint Partners, a leading tech-enabled financial services retirement platform backed by Shore Capital Partners (SCP).

Position Summary:

The Retirement Operations Associate will support the daily administrative functions of retirement plan operations. This role focuses on data entry, document preparation, and assisting with basic plan processing tasks, specifically assisting with participant loans & distributions.

This is an entry-level role; no prior experience in retirement plans or finance is required; you will receive structured training to build foundational knowledge of retirement plans and administrative processes, with opportunities to grow into more advanced responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties related to retirement plan operations
  • Enter, update, and maintain accurate data in internal systems and spreadsheets
  • Work extensively with Microsoft Excel and Word for reports, tracking, and documentation
  • Assist in drafting retirement plan documents and support new business onboarding activities
  • Process benefit distributions for terminated employees in accordance with plan rules
  • Review information for accuracy and completeness
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical files
  • Support team members with special projects as assigned
  • Communicate professionally with internal team members and external contacts as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required (any major considered; math/finance majors preferred)
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
