Job description

Loan Trading Operations Analyst โ€“ Entry Level

Dallas, TX (In-Office| Must be local)

Comp: $47-56K

Join a fast-moving operations team supporting one of the industry's most active lending and securitization platforms. This group plays a central role in how large-scale loan portfolios move from acquisition through financing and eventual sale, working across consumer, auto, student, solar, and residential asset classes. If you like variety, complex problem-solving, and being close to the action on big transactions, this is a strong entry point into capital markets operations.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Help manage day-to-day servicing on a portfolio of lending facilities, working directly with outside financial institutions to troubleshoot reconciliation issues

  • Support the trade settlement process and review supporting legal documentation for accuracy

  • Act as a connector between internal groups (operations, legal, tax, technology) and outside counterparties to keep transactions moving

  • Contribute to large, multi-step deals, including major loan purchases and pool securitizations, alongside colleagues based in other regions

  • Track and report on key performance and compliance metrics used by leadership

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Math, Accounting, or related field

  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience preferred

  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Tableau or other BI tools a plus

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment

  • Detail-oriented with solid analytical instincts

  • Team player who can adapt quickly to shifting priorities
