Job Title: Production Associate and Driver

Reports to:
Brewery Operations Manager

Salary Range:
$18.00 - $25.00/ hour
Description/Expectations:
Hendler Family Brewing Company is seeking an organized and resourceful individual to join our team as a Production Associate and Driver..This is an entry level position that supports the daily activities of brewing, cellaring, packaging and delivering beer. This role supports the warehouse, brewers, cellar staff and packaging staff by preparing work areas and materials, breaking down workstations, and performing regular cleaning tasks. A clean driving record is required. This role is ideal for individuals interested in gaining experience and training in a production brewery! 
Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Responsible for delivering goods between various locations as assigned by the Brewery Operations Manager
  • Assists the organization, loading and unloading of our own freight vehicles 
  • Ensures the safe and reliable operation of all associated vehicles and machinery
  • Assists the setup, cleaning and breakdown of workstations
  • Assists in the performance of preventative maintenance and cleaning of work areas
  • Maintains organization of necessary tools and parts
  • Packing of variety packs
  • Yeast maintenance and disposal
  • Assisting the Kegging team as needed, writing out keg collars, loading/unloading the keg racker, externally cleaning dirty kegs
  • Assisting the packaging, cellar, maintenance and/or warehouse teams as needed 
Job Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work on your feet for 8+ hours a day.
  • Ability to bend, move, twist, and reach with arms, legs, & torso.
  • Ability to lift and move at least 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a non-temperature controlled/refrigerated environment.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in a high pressure environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Previous experience driving a box truck is a plus.
  • Previous warehouse and forklift experience is a plus.
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission box truck a plus
  • Multilingual (English, Spanish and/or Portuguese) is a plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge of the craft beer industry and appreciation of the culture that goes with it.
  • Strong communication skills, both with management and fellow associates.
  • Experience with Google suite and/or Microsoft office suite of applications.
