JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Field Operations Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Manager, Project Operations

FLSA STATUS: Salary/Exempt


POSITION SUMMARY: Colite Technologies delivers a portfolio of sustainable solutions supporting corporate sustainability goals and objectives. The portfolio includes renewable power systems for various PV rooftops, ground mount, and canopy mounting applications and various lighting applications. Colite Technologies is seeking administrative support for the rapid growth of the business. This position will support field-related administrative activities for project construction and post-construction within the Operations Department. This position will report to the Field Operations Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collect, review, and process field employee timecards in compliance with company policy and applicable wage laws.
  • Monitor and track compliance items such as OSHA certifications, safety trainings, and equipment checklists.
  • Maintain accurate records of field crew attendance, hours worked, and travel logs.
  • Support administrative documentation for Davis-Bacon, SCA, and other prevailing wage requirements as applicable.
  • Assist with onboarding new field employees, including I-9 verification, safety orientation, and HR compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate distribution and tracking of safety gear, tools, and equipment assigned to crews.
  • Support communication between field supervisors, project managers, and operations staff regarding scheduling, compliance, and payroll issues.
  • Ensure compliance postings, safety documentation, and labor law requirements are visible at job sites or mobile staging areas.
  • Monitor entire solar system fleet remotely for systems needing troubleshooting or site visit
  • Arrange hotel and other overnight arrangements for field crew members
  • Schedule and deploy field crew members to complete warranty, troubleshooting, and yearly O&M site visits as needed

Experience Required

  • Prior exposure to construction, renewable energy, or solar installation operations preferred.
  • Experience with payroll/timekeeping systems, compliance tracking, or field operations administration a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a field-based environment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and recordkeeping skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn ERP, payroll, or compliance software platforms.
  • Strong communication skills to support both office staff and field crews.
  • Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment.
