Fund Operations Analyst
We are currently seeking candidates for an entry-level Fund Operations Analyst position at a highly successful Investment management firm located in Boston, MA. The Fund Operations Analyst is a back-to-middle office operations role responsible for supporting a fixed income product. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on fund operations experience at a top-tier investment management firm with excellent training, room for growth, and strong employee retention.
This is an 8-12+ month contract-to-hire position paying between $19-$20/hour (depending on experience). This role supports a hybrid work-model (on-site 3 days and remote 2 days per week).
Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day operations for a fixed income product line
  • Perform daily/periodic reconciliations across cash, positions, and transactions
  • Research and resolve discrepancies between the firm and its custodian banks
  • Investigate and escalate breaks in a timely manner, tracking issues through to resolution
  • Partner with custodians, trading, and portfolio management teams to ensure accurate, timely settlement of trades
  • Assist with trade support, corporate actions processing, and NAV/pricing checks as needed
  • Maintain and update operational procedures and documentation
  • Support ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
  • 0–1 years of relevant experience (internship experience in financial services considered)
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables (required)
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Team-oriented with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
