As an Open-Source Research Analyst, you'll use your expertise to help your team assess how alterations will impact business processes and design to develop a strategy plan to evolve and improve your client's capabilities. You Have:
  • Experience conducting open-source research or market research
  • Ability to ramp up on a range of topics quickly, including emerging technologies, cyber threat intelligence, supply chain risk, foreign policy, financial systems, financial crime, market analysis, best practices analysis, and change management
  • Ability to comprehend complex requirements, ask analytical questions, and find information through open-source or market research to answer those questions
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
  • Scheduled to obtain Bachelor's degree by Summer 2027

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with strategy or change management for federal government clients
  • Experience with technology scouting, supply chain risk assessments, or cyber threat intelligence
  • Experience conducting outreach to and interviews with subject matter experts from the private and public sector
  • Experience with open-source research and ubiquitous technical surveillance
  • Experience researching in a foreign language on websites outside the United States
  • Knowledge of financial, economic, or investment intelligence
  • Ability to research, read, and interpret information in a foreign language using native or translated sources
  • Ability to leverage data, analytics, and visualization software tools to prototype solutions addressing challenging client questions rapidly
  • Master's degree in International Affairs, Political Science, Linguistics, Economics, Library Studies, Cultural Studies, or Regional Studies

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
