Job description

The Part-Time Sales Merchandiser services (stock shelves, displays, and display racks) one account 5 times per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). Retrieves overstock (cases of product) from backrooms or from overhead shelving and then fills customer's shelves, displays, and display racks with product. Occasionally, build new displays to written specification. You must be well organized; self- motivated, and maintains good customer service.
Key Job Duties:
  1. Pull overstock from backroom or overhead shelving.
  2. Stock shelves, displays, and display racks with product; rotate product properly and display product in the correct company specifications.
  3. Manage time to service required number of customers and at appropriate times; consistent schedule is required.
  4. Build new displays from written directions when needed
  5. Maintain good customer service.
  6. Housekeeping - keep customers aisles clear and clean of debris.
  7. Dispose of corrugated into bailers or as directed.
  8. Complete paperwork neatly and timely.
  9. Use your own reliable transportation safely.

Job Qualifications and Education:
Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance. At least 18 years old. Effective communication skills: reading, writing, and verbal. Good customer service skills required. Previous working experience in retail grocery or direct store delivery desired.
Essential job functions:
  1. Effectively manage your time to service approx. 8-12 accounts.
  2. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  3. Complete paperwork accurately, neatly and on time.
  4. Effective communication skills: reading, writing, and verbal.
  5. Work alone at a steady pace for the entire work shift.
  6. Use hands and arms outstretched from body or overhead.
  7. Grab with hands, continuously.
  8. Climb ladder
  9. Bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods of time.
  10. Push or pull cart (whatever type available) loaded with product.
  11. Valid driver's license and Auto Insurance.
  12. Must have dependable attendance.
  13. Shift begins at 8AM or earlier, must perform work on a consistent timeline.
