Job description

Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP, an AmLaw 100 firm, has an opening for a part-time Office Assistant in the Firm’s Greenville, South Carolina office. This is an entry-level position that is a 25 hours per week and requires daily in-office attendance. The hours for this role are 12:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M., Monday - Friday. The position requires a warm, friendly, self-motivated, highly organized person who is a service-oriented team player with superior written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Support Services team with processing and distributing mail, packages, and courier runs
  • Help the Records team with file management including entering records into records management system, sending and receiving boxes to and from off-site storage facility
  • Operate high volume copy/fax machines to duplicate documents, books, and other papers as needed including binding and finishing
  • Scan and upload documents to electronic format
  • Provide daily backup receptionist coverage including answering phones, greeting clients and visitors
  • Coordinates and responds to service calls for various office equipment
  • Prepare offices for new personnel, including making name plates, stocking with supplies, etc.
  • Purchase and maintain inventory of all office consumable supplies, including office and kitchen supplies
  • Process vendor invoices through ChromeRiver
  • Set up and breakdown conference rooms, maintain cleanliness of kitchen/break room/common areas, place meal orders, load/unload dishwashers, and other housekeeping duties
  • Assist attorneys and support staff on various projects and events
REQUIREMENTS:
  • College degree and law firm experience preferred
  • Possess exceptional customer service skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and flexibly in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Computer skills in MS Outlook, Word and Excel required
  • Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and available vehicle to conduct daily courier runs
  • Punctuality and satisfactory attendance are imperative
