Our service offerings include mobile applications, web-based applications, AI products, IT strategy, business analysis, project management, data migrations, system upgrades and application support.

    All of our roles are remote, however, Bursting Silver has an office at 171 E Liberty St in Toronto beside Exhibition GO station and provides a base for team members to collaborate, should they choose to avail of this option.

    Role Overview

    Bursting Silver are seeking applicants for our Graduate Technical Developer roles. We are hiring for our second cohort of graduates to join the Accelerate Graduate Development Program for 2026.

    The program is designed to balance future resourcing needs for our tight-knit team with growth and development opportunities for early stage/entry level candidates looking to start a career in Technical Development in the technology consulting and professional services industry.

    The program is an initial 1-year full time contract with the possibility of a permanent offer, dependent on individuals' performance and demonstrated abilities against defined criteria.

    Over the course of the first year, you will:

    • Work in a dedicated team as a Graduate Technical Developer
    • Receive curated development opportunities across soft and hard skills
    • Gain an understanding of the non-profit technology consulting industry
    • Become a key part of Bursting Silver - contributing to client projects and the success of our team
    • Gain exposure to key technologies and methodologies including iMIS (Association & Membership Software), development lifecycle & implementation practices
    Who we are looking for

    Key Responsibilities

    The successful Graduate Technical Developer will gain hands-on experience across a variety of client projects and internal initiatives, including:

    • Contributing to product development and web application builds
    • Supporting AI configuration and integration activities
    • Assisting in website design and front-end development
    • Performing data migration and database query work
    • Participating in testing, deployment, and ongoing code maintenance
    • Preparing technical documentation and solution components
    • Supporting development workstreams, project timelines, and team communication
    • Participating in professional development and certification opportunities

    Entry Requirements & Eligibility

    The Accelerate Graduate Development Program is accepting applications from candidates across Canada who meet the following criteria:

    New Graduates

    • You have graduated within the last 3 years (2023-2026) from a diploma level course or above
    • You have graduated from an ESDC accredited post-secondary institute (or international equivalent)
    • Your field of study was Technical, Software or Analytical focused
    • You have no more than 2 years cumulative experience as a Technical/Software Developer (including co-op placements/internships)

      Early Career Candidates
      Bursting Silver also invites candidates who are exploring a change to a career in technical software development who have no more than 2 years' professional experience in the last 3 years as a Technical Developer.
