Job Title: Team Lead

Job Description

The primary function of the Team Lead is to consistently promote the company's mission, values, and goals. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of the warehouse team in the picking department. You will be required to maintain smooth, efficient flow in the department and assist where needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor employees' performance, conduct, and work quality.
• Ensure on-time receiving and oversee safety, security, and housekeeping.
• Assist in inventory management and meet customer service expectations.
• Oversee the operation of the warehouse team to achieve prescribed objectives.
• Monitor KPIs and assist with staff management to meet KPI objectives.

Essential Skills

• Reliable self-starter capable of working alone.
• Ability to lead staff to meet customer demands and company objectives.
• Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
• Experience and solid understanding of warehousing and distribution.
• Experience in a warehouse RF environment.
• Previous experience leading in a warehouse or production facility.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• General labor, heavy lifting, warehouse, shipping, receiving, order picking experience.
• Experience with RF scanner operations.

Work Environment

Work in an extremely fast-paced receiving department within a large third-party logistics warehouse facility. The team includes 20-30 people. Expect a dynamic work environment where adaptability is key. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with mandatory overtime as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Calgary, AB.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Calgary,AB.
