Job description


Role Overview

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will drive high-volume, full-cycle recruitment across British Columbia and Alberta. Utilizing creative internal and external sourcing methods, you will identify, screen, and recommend top-tier talent for a diverse range of branches and business lines.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain exposure in Field Recruitment, directly supporting the scaling of our frontline business operations across both provinces. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to make a tangible impact on regional growth, this role is for you.

This position can be based in BC or Alberta. Occasional travel will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full cycle recruiting by partnering with field operations leadership to forecast and determine staffing needs.

  • Review and qualify resumes against role requirements, conducting preliminary phone interviews to assess cultural and technical fit.

  • Facilitate and schedule phone, virtual, and in-person interviews between top talent and hiring teams.

  • Assist with candidate assessments, conduct reference checks, make hiring recommendations, and extend formal offer letters while clearly explaining compensation, benefits, and agreements.

  • Design innovative sourcing strategies and build robust talent pipelines utilizing both traditional and non-traditional channels (e.g., career fairs, online networking, and community networking events).

  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with colleges, universities, and external organizations to drive diverse talent pipelines.

  • Create, update, and standardize ad-hoc recruitment documentation to streamline the hiring lifecycle.

  • Own and oversee end-to-end recruitment projects from inception to successful completion.

  • Support the HR team with the internal employee transfer process.

  • Proactively follow up with candidates and hiring managers to gather feedback, ensuring a continuous improvement of the recruitment and selection process.

  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to successfully achieve organizational staffing goals.

  • Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations within your region.

  • Consult and advise hiring managers on recruitment best practices, interview techniques, and talent trends.

  • Manage candidate activity in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Workday.

  • Manage application/resume file and retention according to company policy.

  • Execute other recruitment and HR-related responsibilities as required to support business needs.

Education, Qualifications and Experience

  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience managing the full-cycle recruitment process.

  • Bachelor's degree, diploma or certification in Human Resources or a related field preferred.

  • Prior experience with Workday ATS is considered an asset.

  • Ability to travel as required.

  • A valid Drivers License is preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with external candidates and internal teams.
