Come join Lockheed's Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) team. Our system will travel at Mach 5 (over a mile per second). Helping us create a system that goes that fast means overcoming several difficult physics and engineering challenges.
You will be integrating hypersonic missile technology into an Army battery on a highly accelerated schedule to deliver a hypersonic operational prototype system to the Soldier. LRHW will be capable of flying at 5x the speed of sound and will provide a timely response to varying threat scenarios. If this intrigues you, come join our LRHW HW team.
Lockheed Martin is in search of a full-time Early Career Cybersecurity Engineer.to support the Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) program, Systems Engineering and Integration (SEIT) Integrated Product Team (IPT).
This position is in "Rocket City" Huntsville AL.

As a Cybersecurity Engineer you will:
• Implement Cybersecurity on tactical products and systems.
• Partner with other systems engineering, software engineering, and product teams to facilitate the secure design of the systems throughout the system development lifecycles.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and knowledge in basic Cybersecurity configurations, information technology (IT), and basic Networking concepts.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (e.g., engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics); entry-level candidate with little or no prior professional experience, possibly supplemented by relevant coursework, training or post-secondary degree.
• Possess DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II, or higher, certification (e.g., Security+, GSEC, etc.) or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Understanding of Cybersecurity and Networking fundamentals
• Active interim or final Secret security clearance or ability to obtain

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $68,000 - $119,830. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
