Job Summary:
MindSource is seeking a motivated Entry-Level System Administrator to support day-to-day IT infrastructure operations. This role offers an opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience with Linux systems, virtualization, and network environments in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security
• Support virtualization environments (VMware/KVM)
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access (LDAP)
• Perform system backups, patching, and updates
• Assist with storage and network device management (Cisco)
• Troubleshoot system, hardware, and software issues
• Support tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Ansible
• Maintain system documentation and procedures
• Assist with server setup, rack and stack, and hardware upgrades
Qualifications:
Required:
• Basic knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat)
• Familiarity with VMware or virtualization technologies
• Understanding of networking concepts and Cisco devices
• Exposure to shell scripting
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
