Position Overview

The Load Assignment & Shipment Tracking Coordinator ensures accurate shipment tracking, efficient load assignment, and consistent communication throughout freight operations. Jacksonville candidates may work hybrid, while remote employees are fully integrated into Oregon-based coordination systems. This role supports both entry-level learners and experienced dispatch professionals in a structured, operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assign and monitor freight shipments in coordination with dispatch teams

Maintain up-to-date shipment status and tracking documentation

Communicate delivery updates, delays, or operational exceptions to teams and drivers

Support coordination of multiple shipments to ensure smooth operations

Monitor workflows for scheduling conflicts or inefficiencies

Provide suggestions for operational improvements and process enhancements

Collaborate with Oregon-based management for system alignment

Qualifications

Effective verbal and written communication

Computer literacy and ability to work with dispatch or tracking software

Organizational skills with attention to detail

Ability to follow structured processes and workflows

Time management and accountability

Previous logistics experience helpful but not required
