The Warehouse Worker II plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of warehouse activities within the transportation and warehousing industry. This position is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, maintaining inventory integrity and supporting timely order fulfillment. The role requires collaboration with team members to optimize workflow, uphold safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The Warehouse Worker II will handle more complex tasks than entry-level positions, including operating specialized equipment and assisting in training new staff. Ultimately, this role ensures that warehouse operations run smoothly, supporting the broader supply chain and customer satisfaction objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills to accurately document and process inventory.
